FAQ
What makeup products do you use?
If you click here you can see a selection of the brands of makeup that I use.
How long before my wedding should I book a hair & makeup artist?
Hair & Makeup Artists can get booked up 1-2 years in advance prior to a wedding! If you have seen a hair & makeup artist and love their work I recommend to get in touch with them as soon as possible to check their availability.
How do I go about booking a hair & makeup artist?
To book your hair & makeup artist, drop them an email (an email can sometimes be more helpful as you can specify more information) or give them a call.
I do not require a deposit to secure your big day until we have had the trial.
When do you recommend I have a trial for my wedding hair & makeup?
I always suggest that my brides have their trial 3 months before the wedding. This is enough time prior to the wedding that it will not get in the way of other appointments and finishing touches but close enough to the wedding so that you are not going to change your mind as to the look you are after! Of course the decision is yours entirely - hair & makeup is an exciting part of your big day, I have brides that have trials 9 month to a year in advance.
Can other members of the bridal party have trials?
Of course! It isn't a necessity but any one in the bridal party is more than welcome to have a hair & makeup trial.
What if there are too many in the bridal party for you to complete hair & makeup on time?
After the trial, when I have all final timings i.e the ceremony time and the time you and your bridal party are leaving to go to the ceremony I will create a schedule for the morning which I will email across to you. This helps the morning run as smoothly as possible!
I like to have my brides and bridal party ready an hour before they are going to be leaving for the ceremony. This gives you all enough time to get your dresses on and have a few photos together without it being rushed and stressful.
Do you travel?
Yes! I am based in Surrey but travel all over (travel is an extra charge on top of fee's).
Where does the trial take place?
You are more than welcome to come to my home studio in Burgh Heath, Surrey for the trial or I do travel to a location of your choice (travel is an extra charge on top of the trial fees).
Do you offer makeup lessons?
Yes - I offer makeup lessons!
These are perfect for brides who are getting married abroad and will not have a hair & makeup artist. Or if a bride would like to do their own makeup on the day, a makeup lesson is also good for this.
Do you offer occasion hair & makeup or prom hair & makeup?
Most definitely! I love to get my clients ready for a special or occasion or graduation/prom
